Atlanta, GA - Jun 04, 2007 Tay'Lord Entertainment will host Knowledge is Power, a manager's only conference, at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta on June 23, 2007 from 8am until 6pm. The Knowledge is Power Manager's only conference is geared towards up and coming professionals looking to further their career in managing artists, producers and songwriters.

Knowledge is Power will include panels on publishing, management, A&R, radio play and artist development. Executives from all aspects of the industry will be in attendance to educate aspiring managers and to share their personal experiences in the business. There will be representatives from several major and independent labels in attendance including the Atlanta-based Redzone Entertainment, Purple Ribbon, Shonuff and Rowdy Records.

Only 50 up and coming managers will be admitted to the conference!
"The purpose of this conference is to enlighten and inform individuals aspiring to succeed in the music industry, especially those looking to manage artists, producers and songwriters," says Frank Taylor, "Only fifty aspiring managers will be allowed to attend the conference. By keeping our numbers low we enable our participants the opportunity to interact with the panelists on an individual basis." The conference will include a publishing rights panel hosted by Cappriccieo Scates, Assoc. Director for SESAC, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions concerning musical licensing and performing rights. Judi Acosta-Stewart (RedZone Entertainment, Britney Spears, Blu Cantrell, Sam Salter, Tricky Stewart) and Marvin McIntyre (New Edition, Keith Sweat) two managers representing some of the hottest artists in the industry will share their perspective on cultivating an artist to achieve platinum success. Also various A&R reps from top record labels will entertain questions about getting an artist discovered and obtaining radio place. There will also be an opportunity for guests to speak with several artists to hear their personal success stories.
