Despite the shameless plug to his album, Young Jeezy is making a great case for people to stand up and pay attention. I have had a chance to hear the album and this production on the album is sick.

The lyrics are questionable but the dude is brining it like his first real release….”Trap or Die”!

Young Jeezy has broadened his subject matter on his new album The Recession. The Snowman is known for his gangsta rap, but is looking to make music that everybody can listen and relate to. During an interview with the Associated Press, Jeezy explains that this album has a very important message,
“We as people, we have to stand. We have to get together as far as voting, we have to get together as far as our communities, we have to get together as far as our culture. We all know we're in a recession, how are we going to deal with it?”

With tracks like "My President"
and"Crazy World,"! it’s clear that Jeezy wants his fans to be aware of what’s going on in the world. Be sure to pick up his album, The Recession, available in stores now.
