Snoop Dogg sure knows how to bring out the life of the party! As he did when he taped for an episode of VH1’s Storytellers Thursday night in Brooklyn, New York. Accompanied by his band featuring Teddy Riley and DJ Quik, Snoop had the crowd singing along to past hits such as “Gin and Juice” and two stepping to his current single "Life of da Party," featuring Too Short and Mistah F.A.B. The Long Beach native took time out during the evening to explain how he became the first rapper to remake another rapper’s song, Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick’s 1985 classic “La Di Da Di.” Shortly after telling his concept behind the song he brought Doug E. on stage, who backed Snoop’s vocals with his signature beat-boxing. To close out the night the Doggfather performed “Sensual Seduction,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” and “Cool.” VH1 Storytellers: Snoop Dogg premieres Monday, March 31st
