JD has a new record label

“Today, we make history in the music industry with TAG Records,” said Jermaine Dupri, president of TAG Records. “This label is going to provide new artists with a chance of a lifetime. New artists will receive ten times the typical marketing support – a first in the industry. I’m hand selecting and molding these artists to make history in hip hop.”



You would only imagine that JD would follow behind Jay-Z in the music world but JD is announcing a huge deal with Proter & Gamble :TAG brand. This is a body spray yes that has wanted to get in the urban market for a long time. It has been an undying thing for most companies that have not already hit the Urban market to get it in real early, and what better person to bring it to is Jermaine Dupri.

If you don’t already know Jay-z and JD just had a party together and LIVE NATION ( a multi-media company) has given Jigga man $150 million dollars to start a label too. Is this going to be a growing trend in music???

The TAG and Island Def Jam Music Group partnership was forged and managed by New York - based ACME Brand Content Company, TAG’s branded entertainment agency of record.
