DIDDY SIGNS JANELLE MONAE TO BAD BOY

Diddy just added one more project to his roster: the singer/songwriter Janelle Monae. Her sound blends R&B, funk and futuristic rock. The Kansas City native was discovered in Atlanta by producers Nate “Rocket” Wonder and Chuck Lightning of Wondaland Productions and began working on the concept of the project METROPOLIS, with Big Boi as the Co-Executive producer.

Through Big Boi, she grabbed the attention of Diddy who says she is “one of the most important signings of his career.” Look out for her full length album which is scheduled to be released in September.
